Remains of the Day: T-Mobile Will Finally Get the iPhoneT-Mobile will launch Apple products next year, YouTube gets a design tweak, and your tweets will soon be a few characters shorter.

  • T-Mobile and Apple Sign Agreement to Launch Products in 2013 In 2013, T-Mobile will finally get the iPhone. A press release from parent company Deutsche Telekom disclosed that a deal had been struck between the carrier and Apple. Details are still forthcoming, as both companies have declined to comment until a later date. [Engadget]
  • A new look to help you to subscribe and watch channels on YouTube Today YouTube began to roll out a redesign that features a larger video player with condensed social functions. Also new: a guide feature that keeps you up to date on your subscriptions and shows what friends are watching or sharing. [YouTube Blog]
  • Upcoming t.co Changes Twitter plans to extend their shortened t.co links by two characters. Standard links will grow from 20 to 22 characters and encrypted (HTTPS) links from 21 to 23. This means less room for tweeting URLs, but the change won't go into effect until 2013.. [Twitter Developers]
